Behind the frame
SCROLL
UCB
December 2025
When a construction site tells its story over 20 months. Frame by frame.
In mid-December 2025, UCB entrusted us with the deployment of a timelapse construction monitoring system for the T1 Labs Extension project, a large-scale site scheduled to run until the end of August 2027.
Objective
To document each phase of the construction accurately and continuously, from the first earthworks to final delivery, while ensuring consistent image quality over time.
The setup
- 2 timelapse cameras installed at height
- Positioned at strategic points
- Offering a complete and coherent reading of the site
Their installation required thorough technical preparation and on-site intervention using lifting platforms:
- Reinforced mounts
- Ballast systems
- Secure fixings
All designed to ensure perfect stability, regardless of weather conditions or project duration.
Autonomy & continuity
The cameras operate autonomously thanks to solar panels and record site activity from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., all year round.
Long-term monitoring
Regular monitoring ensures system reliability and visual consistency throughout the project.
Deliverables
Each month, a recap video is produced, offering a clear, dynamic and usable overview of site progress for project teams and stakeholders.
At Melting Prod, timelapse is not a gadget.
It is a tool for documentation, communication and long-term memory.
A project to monitor over time?
We install, we monitor… and we tell the story.
